  32. Well, here in the USA, the IRS and other agencies take a fairly
  33. dim view of companies that accept work that adds value and isn't
  34. compensated.  They ought to, if you think about it.  Sure, most
  35. companies would _love_ a volunteer work force...who wouldn't like
  36. to not have to pay their workers?  Problem is, those of us who
  37. work for a living have a tough time competing against someone
  38. who's willing to work for free.
